Creating a Jewish Legacy
UConn Hillel empowers Jewish students to explore Judaism on their own terms so they can enrich the Jewish future and the world. We are committed to creating a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment where students can build lasting relationships.
We focus on Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) by providing students with resources to combat antisemitism, advocate for Israel, and further social justice for all. We are a financially sustainable organization invested in student leadership and programming here and in Israel, dedicated to preserving Jewish culture and traditions.
Invest in Our Future
With the skills and experience gained at Hillel, coupled with deep friendships, students feel more connected to their community and make an enduring commitment to Jewish life beyond their time at UConn.
We advocate for students and Jewish interests on campus through partnerships with the University administration and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. By making UConn a safer, more welcoming, and inclusive place for all students, it becomes a safer place for Jewish students.
We help students develop innovative ways to do Jewish, be Jewish, and learn Jewish. Our students are ready to be Jewish leaders in our community and beyond. Our legacy donors are Individuals just like you, who want to ensure that Hillel will always be the place at UConn to inspire students to lead a Jewish life.
