Unique Photo Contest: Apply by November 15!

November 5, 2016

STORRS – UConn students, this is your moment to shine! Participate in a unique photo contest brought to you by UConn Hillel and Huskies for Israel. Enter now for your chance to win $100 and have your photo on display at the Connecticut State Capitol!

On November 30, guest lecturer Alon Futterman will be coming to UConn from Israel as part of his speaking series, “Social Entrepreneurship in Israel.” Before the lecture in the Konover Auditorium at the Dodd Center, there will be a student photo exhibition focusing on society and culture here at UConn. After applying, each student will be given a photo revolving around Israeli life and culture. Your job then is to submit a photo modeling this aspect of Israel that is paralleled here at UConn. All photos will be displayed before Futterman’s lecture, and each student will get to present their ideas for a chance to win $100, $50, or $25. All photos will then be on exhibition at the Connecticut State Capitol.
